Application of TMA and STA to Optimize the Sintering Process of Solid-state Electrolyte Used in All-solid Battery

Application of TMA and STA

Introduction

All-solid-state lithium-ion batteries have received extensive attention as the core technology for the next generation of power batteries, with solid-state electrolytes as the key component. Lithium aluminum titanium phosphate (LATP) with a NASICON structure exhibits outstanding properties in terms of chemical stability, high voltage stability, and other aspects.

This application note conducted in-situ sintering experiments on LATP solid electrolyte powders doped with different elements. The PerkinElmer TMA 4000 thermal mechanical analyzer was used, which has excellent displacement resolution and temperature control capabilities, to provide data support for the optimization of sintering parameters and formulations of the solid electrolyte.
